SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment. Device for hair cutting comprises laser radiation source and light guide element for direction of light radiation from light source to cutting element. Cutting element comprises an optical waveguide for receiving light radiation from the light guide element. Light guide element has a convergent section in which the diameter of the light guide element decreases from the diameter on the side of the light source to the diameter on the side of the cutting element. Section of the side wall of the optical waveguide of the cutting element forms a cutting surface for contact with the hair.
EFFECT: disclosed is a hair cutting device.
