FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to chemistry of adamantane derivatives, specifically to a novel method of producing 3-iodo-1-perfluoroalkyladamantanes which can be used in chemical-pharmaceutical industry. Technical result is achieved in a method of producing 3-iodo-1-perfluoroalkylamantanes, involving reacting an adamantane derivative with a polyfluorinated aliphatic compound in the presence of a solvent while heating, wherein the adamantane derivative used is 1,3-dehydroadamantane, the polyfluorinated aliphatic compound used is heptafluoro-2-iodopropane or 1-iodine-fluorobutane, and the solvent used is diethyl ether in molar ratio of 1:3:6.5.
EFFECT: technical result is simple method of producing 3-iodo-perfluoroalkyladamantanes.
