FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport equipment, particularly, to devices and methods of diesel engine control. Disclosed are methods and systems for adjusting phases of valve timing exhaust valves. In one of the examples, the phases of gas distribution of the exhaust valve of the engine with compression ignition are adjusted in accordance with the difference between the specified moment of opening of the outlet valve and the actual moment of opening of the outlet valve, at that the actual moment of opening of the outlet valve is determined from pressure in the cylinder.
EFFECT: technical result is stabilization of required emissions and engine characteristics.
