SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a radio-frequency (RF) coil for use in space for examining a system for generating magnetic resonance (MR) images. Essence of inventions consists in that RF coil comprises tubular housing, wherein the RF coil is segmented in the longitudinal direction of the tubular body into two segments of the coil and the two segments of the coil are spaced from each other in the longitudinal direction of the tubular body, as a result of which a gap is formed between the two coil segments.
EFFECT: technical result is higher clinical effectiveness and diagnosis when using the MR imaging system.
