FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a first vehicle comprising sensors and processors. Processors determine, using friction sensors, a road on which the first vehicle passed, and location and acceleration of vehicle moving behind. Using the processors, the adjusted acceleration of the vehicle moving behind is calculated when the second vehicle is at a predetermined distance from the part of the road with a predetermined friction. Processors calculate theoretical collision rate (TCV) based on adjusted acceleration of vehicle moving behind and generate commands based on TCV and selected coefficient of kinetic friction (COF). Generated command automatically causes the first vehicle to flash flashingly with brake light devices with frequency associated with the generated command. Invention covers also vehicle and method of controlling first vehicle.
EFFECT: prevention of vehicle collisions by accounting for kinetic friction coefficient.
