SUBSTANCE: invention relates to unit (100) of a visual position indicator for units of limit switches, comprising indicator element (110) configured to be mounted on a drive unit shaft of a limit switch unit, wherein said display element (110) has a plurality of adjacent sectors (111, 112) with different colors and/or inscriptions. Unit of visual indicator of position also contains the first mask and second mask (120, 130), containing through openings (121, 122, 131, 132), having the same size and layout and installed on one axis with each other. One of the masks, which include first mask (120) and second mask (130), is configured to rotate relative to the other mask.

EFFECT: due to said design, angular width of through openings can be varied to ensure its compliance with actual angular travel of indicator element (110).
