FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of making armored cables and cable machines. Method of armored cable manufacturing consists in single coil of metal cable, at which external rope of metal rope is developed with simultaneous removal of its initial central element and simultaneous introduction instead of substitute central element and simultaneously swirling said outer lining around replacement central element to restore previous geometrical dimensions of metal rope.
EFFECT: reduction of the number of technological operations and, accordingly, reduction of the production cycle time.
