SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, in particular to methods of automatic unloading of parallel operating generators. In the method of automatic unloading of parallel operating generating sets by means of disconnection of a part of electric power consumers, which consists in measurement of active load of each of the generator sets, in contrast to the prototype, a moment of time is determined, when the active load of at least one of the generator units decreases, and the active load of the other generator units increases and at that exceeds the specified value of the active load, and a part of electric power consumers is disconnected.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of time for disconnection of part of electric energy consumers in case of failure of one or several generator units.
