SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment, to receivers of seismic signals, characterized by electromagnetic measuring devices. Disclosed is a seismic transducer, which includes a microwave generator based on a cylindrical resonator with a H01 wave and a Gunn diode. Gunn diode is connected to a piece of rectangular waveguide, in which a movable dielectric plate, a communication window, a metal rod, a metal cylinder, a spring, and the resulting seismic vibration signal is recorded using a microwave detector and an indicator.

EFFECT: simple design of the sensor and enabling detection of small amplitudes.
