FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: adjustable along the length of con-rod (1) has first part (4) of the rod and second part (5) of the rod, at that, parts (4, 5) of the rod by means of device (60) of length adjustment are telescopically displaced towards each other and/or into each other, and length adjusting device (60) is configured to be supplied by hydraulic medium via hydraulic channel (11, 12). Hydraulic channel (11, 12) is made with possibility of hydraulic connection by means of control device (16) to channel (13) for supply with hydraulic medium. Control device (16) has first and second valves (17; 22) having each valve chamber (18; 23) and valve body (20, 25) pressed by return force to valve seat (21, 26). Valve chamber (18) of first valve (17) is hydraulically connected to the first hydraulic channel (11), and the second valve chamber (23) of second valve (22) - to the second hydraulic channel (12). Bodies (20, 25) of valves are actively connected to each other by means of connecting device (27), shifted between the first position and the second position, at that in the first position the first valve body (20), and in the second position, the second valve body (25) are lifted each against the return force from the corresponding valve seat (21; 26), and the first or, respectively, second valve chamber (18; 23) is hydraulically connected to channel (13) for supply with hydraulic medium, and accordingly in other position of connecting device (27) first valve body (20) adjoins the first valve seat (21) or, respectively, second valve body (25) to second valve seat (26) and shut off hydraulic connection with channel (13) for supply with hydraulic medium.

EFFECT: increasing the lifetime at a length-adjustable connecting rod and to enable preferably also at high speeds, a reliable, repeatable adjustment of the connecting rod.
