FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a windshield with an electrically adjustable sun screen, a vehicle with such a windshield, method of making such a windshield and use of a tinted or colored zone of a thermoplastic layer for connection of a functional element with electrically controlled optical properties to outer glass or inner glass of a windshield. Windshield comprises at least outer glass and inner glass, which are connected to each other by means of an intermediate layer. Above the B field central field, a functional element with electrically adjustable optical properties is embedded in the intermediate layer, which is connected through the first thermoplastic layer to the outer glass and through the second thermoplastic layer with the inner glass. Zone of first thermoplastic layer and/or zone of second thermoplastic layer is tinted or painted. Functional element is a functional element of PDLC.
EFFECT: providing comfort and convenience of use.
