FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to natural polymer materials, particularly biology and medicine, and can be used to produce silk fibroin solution for spinning fibers by electrospinning. Method of producing silk fibroin solution consists in placing fibroin into a mixture of formic acid and trifluoroacetic acid at the ratio of acids in the mixture, wt%: formic acid 90–95, trifluoroacetic acid 5–10 and in amount of fibroin from 1 to 2 g per 10 ml of mixture of acids and maintained at room temperature until complete dissolution of fibroin.

EFFECT: in the process of electrospraying the solvent is completely evaporated, there are no salts in the obtained fiber.
