FIELD: cosmetology; medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the cosmetic and medical industry, namely to a method for the production of a collagen product, characterized by that skins of pike, silver carp and carp are cleaned of excess connective tissue, washed in an aqueous solution of sodium salt of hydrochloric acid (NaCl) with a concentration of 5% by weight of skins, after which they are washed in running water and kept first in an aqueous solution of dry mustard powder with a concentration of 10% by weight of skins for 10 minutes, and then in an aqueous solution of sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3) with a concentration of 2% by weight of skins for 15 minutes. Moreover, treated skins are crushed to particles of 5-10 mm in size, washed in distilled water at a temperature of 3-8°C and kept in an aqueous solution of dye E-171 (TiO2 – titanium dioxide) with a concentration of 10% by weight of skins for 1 hour, then washed in distilled water at a temperature of 3-8°C and kept in an aqueous solution of lactic acid (C3H6O3, CH3CH(OH)COOH) with a concentration of 1% by weight of skins for 1 week at a temperature of 2-4°C. Then, crushed skin particles are homogenized in distilled water, passed through a filter with a diameter of filter membrane holes of 500 mcm, packed and stored in an airtight container at a temperature of 2-4°C for up to 8 months.

EFFECT: above-described method allows to improve quality indicators of a collagen product due to an increase in the collagen yield; improvement of organoleptic indicators; reduction in labor intensity and cost due to a reduction in the number of technological operations and reagents; preservation of native collagen fiber by reducing the aggressiveness of media.
