SUBSTANCE: described is an oxidation catalyst for treating exhaust gas from a diesel engine, an exhaust system comprising an oxidation catalyst, a vehicle comprising a diesel engine and an oxidation catalyst, device comprising a diesel engine and an oxidation catalyst, a method of treating exhaust gas from a diesel engine, which includes either contacting the off-gas with an oxidation catalyst, or passing exhaust gas through the exhaust system. Oxidizing catalyst for treatment of exhaust gas from diesel engine, which contains: first area of coating from porous oxide for NOx adsorption, where the first porous oxide coating area contains a zeolite catalyst, wherein the zeolite catalyst contains palladium and zeolite and where the zeolite catalyst substantially does not contain a basic metal selected from a group consisting of iron (Fe), copper (Cu), manganese (Mn), chromium (Cr), cobalt (Co), nickel (Ni), tin (Sn), as well as mixtures of two or more of them; a second coating area of a porous oxide for oxidising nitrogen oxide (NO), where the second coating area of the porous oxide contains platinum (Pt) and carrier material; third coating area from porous oxide for oxidation of carbon monoxide (CO) and hydrocarbons, where the third porous oxide coating region contains a platinum group metal (PGM) and a support material, where the platinum group metal (PGM) consists of platinum (Pt), palladium (Pd) or a mixture of platinum (Pt) and palladium (Pd); as well as a substrate having an inlet end and an outlet end.
EFFECT: invention discloses a diesel oxidising catalyst having nox adsorber activity.
