FIELD: transport machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an oxidising catalyst for treating exhaust gas generated by a compression-ignition engine comprising: a substrate; catalytic material, located on substrate, wherein said catalytic material comprises platinum (Pt), arranged on carrier material or deposited on carrier material; and area containing capturing material, containing metal particles alloying platinum Pt, which is palladium (Pd), having a dispersion of not more than 10 %, as determined by chemical sorption CO, arranged on carrier material or applied on carrier material, wherein said support material is in form of particles and contains refractory oxide having average specific surface area, determined by physical nitrogen sorption at −196 °C using a volumetric method and using the BET adsorption isotherm equation of not more than 50 m2/g. Invention also relates to an exhaust system for treating exhaust gas generated by a compression-ignition engine, as well as to a vehicle and a method of treating exhaust gas.
EFFECT: technical result consists in development of gripping material for capture of evaporating Pt, which does not affect amount of NO2 in exhaust gas.
