SUBSTANCE: invention refers to biotechnology and molecular biology. Disclosed is a nucleic acid for producing influenza type B haemagglutinin (HA) protein in a plant comprising a regulatory region active in a plant, and an expression enhancer, active in a plant, wherein the regulatory region and the expression enhancer are operably linked to a nucleotide sequence encoding a modified type B (HA) influenza hemagglutinin, wherein in modified HA between subunits HA1 and HA2 completely removed proteolytic loop, wherein proteolytic loop contains monobasic or multibasic splitting site, wherein the nucleic acid does not contain a Bean Yellow Dwarf Virus long intergenic region (BeYDV LIR) and BeYDV short intergenic region (BeYDV SIR), as well as a method of producing a modified protein, a cell and a plant expressing the modified protein.
EFFECT: invention can be used in industry and public health services for obtaining influenza type B vaccine.
