DETERMINATION OF ASSEMBLED STATE OF AEROSOL DELIVERY DEVICE BASED ON LOAD Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A24F47/00

Abstract RU 2705631 C2

FIELD: smoking accessories.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for delivery, or supply, of an aerosol, such as smoking articles, and, in particular, to aerosol delivery devices, which can use electrically produced heat for aerosol generation (for example, smoking products, which are usually called electronic cigarettes). Control housing is configured to be connected to a cartridge equipped with a heating element and containing an aerosol precursor composition, wherein the control body is configured to be connected to the cartridge for forming an aerosol delivery device, in which the heating element is configured to activate and evaporate the components of the aerosol precursor composition, and wherein control housing comprises first positive conductor configured to be connected to power supply; a second positive conductor configured to be connected to the heating element; in series connected pull-up resistor and switch, connected to first positive conductor and second positive conductor and between them, wherein switch is connected to pull-up resistor and second positive conductor and between them; and a microprocessor configured to control the operation of the switch in a closed state in standby mode, in which the pull-up resistor is configured to provide a high logic voltage level on the second positive conductor, when control housing is disconnected from cartridge, and in which heating element is not equipped with energy, and provides low logic level of voltage on second positive conductor, when control housing is connected to cartridge, wherein microprocessor is configured to measure voltage on second positive conductor and to control operation of at least one functional element of aerosol delivery device based on said.

EFFECT: technical result is improvement of aerosol delivery device.
