FIELD: liquid atomisation or spraying devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aerosol delivery devices, such as smoking articles, which can be configured to heat the aerosol precursor composition. Aerosol delivery device comprises a plurality of electronic components interconnected by one or more conductors or connected to said conductors, note here that said electronic components comprise heating element 224, control component 208 and Hall effect current transducer 214. Control component 208 is configured to control heating element 224 for activation and evaporation of components of aerosol precursor composition. Hall effect current sensor 214 is located near conductor of said one or more conductors and is configured to measure current passing through conductor. Besides, control component 208 is configured to disconnect the power supply in case the current passing through the conductor exceeds the threshold level.
EFFECT: disclosed is Hall effect current sensor for aerosol delivery device.
