FIELD: hydraulic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic engineering and can be used for damping water flow energy after pressure water lines in a water well shaft. Water flow energy damper includes horizontal section of water conduit 1, chamber 6 and well 11. Housing of chamber 6 has inlet branch pipe 2 with expanding outlet transition section. Chamber 6 has in inner cavity perforated conical inserts 4, fixed by means of elastic dampers 5, one of which is rigidly fixed on the end wall of the housing of chamber 6, and the other one is installed on the rigid annular support 7, which is movable coaxially in the axial direction and pressed with adjusting screws 8. Perforated conical inserts 4 with smaller diameter are directed into the expanding part of the housing of chamber 6, which is connected to the outlet branch pipe 3. Bottom 10 of well 11 has its elongation towards discharge pipeline 12. Additional closed damping chamber 13 is located behind vertical cantilever wall 14 and bottom of chamber 13 is located in one plane with bottom 10 of well 11 and has threshold 15. Damping chamber 13 at the end has partition 16 and in plan is connected with discharge pipeline 12 through outlet hole 17. Partition 16 is intended to change direction of flow from outlet hole of well 11 between vertical cantilever wall 14, which is fixed below outlet 17 of discharge pipeline 12, which finally reduces bottom and surface speed before discharge pipeline 12.
EFFECT: thus, on all sections flow is intensely quenched as a whole, high degree of protection of discharge pipeline and at its end from dynamic effects of excess energy of high-speed flow of supply water conduit, which improves the reliability of the extinguishing structure, reduces the length of the discharge pipeline, simplifies the design and reduces bottom speeds in the flow.
