FIELD: chemistry; technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to synthesis of polyurethane, in particular to a composition for polyurethane molded mattresses and a method for production thereof. Composition contains component A and component B, component A contains a highly active polyether-polyol, a polymer-polyol, an extender of macromolecular chains, a foam stabilizer, a foaming agent, a catalyst and a fire retardant; component B contains polyether-polyol, isocyanate and stabilizer for storage. Highly active polyether-polyol is a polyoxypropylene triol with ethylene oxide at the end with primary hydroxyl content greater than or equal to 70 % and number-average molecular weight from 4,000 to 8,000. Macromolecular chain extender is obtained by using diethanolamine or triethanolamine as an initiator and adding epoxy propane to carry out an additive polymerization reaction.
EFFECT: invention provides lower density and improved strength characteristics.
