FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to flexible electric heating devices and can be used in systems of main or additional heating of internal premises for various purposes. Flexible electric heater consists of two layers of electrically insulating base, each of which contains reinforced and coated on one side with protective dielectric film metal foil, between which there is a resistive heating element made in the form of two separate insulated wires connected to each other at one end by a coupling, and at the other end connected to a power supply to form a single electrical circuit. Wires are located between two layers of the electrically insulating base in form of two closely spaced corners. In vertexes of corners wires are located from each other at distance S1, where D≤S1≤20⋅D, D is outer wires insulation diameter, wherein on other sections of corners of wires are located from each other at distance S2, where D≤S2≤30⋅D.

EFFECT: invention provides higher efficiency of electric heater during its operation.
