SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tobacco industry, more particularly to electronic cigarettes. Disclosed is aerosol-forming article (10) comprising an aerosol-forming substrate and a mouthpiece attached to an end of the aerosol-forming substrate downstream. Mouthpiece contains at least one segment of filtering material (20) and ventilated segment (27) located further downstream relative to said at least one segment of filtering material (20) and containing at least one element (26) for delivery of a freshener. Ventilated segment (27) comprising said at least one freshener delivery element (26) is configured to be separated from said at least one filter material segment (20) to reduce the degree of ventilation of aerosol-forming article (10).

EFFECT: technical result is improvement of breath freshening compared to known aerosol-generating products, in which the flavouring agent is delivered in inhaled smoke during smoking.
