Disclosed is aerosol-forming article (10) comprising aerosol-forming substrate (12) and mouthpiece (14) attached to the downstream of aerosol-forming substrate (12). Mouthpiece (14) contains at least one segment from filtering material (18) and the fluid delivery element (22). Fluid supply element (22) comprises an end located in the upstream direction, a downstream end, cavity (28) enclosing fluid, and multiple channels passing between the upstream end of the fluid delivery element (22) and further downstream. Fluid delivery element (22) is configured to deliver fluid to said at least one segment of filter material (18) upon activation by consumer.
EFFECT: invention finds specific application as an elongated smoking article, such as a cigarette.
