SUBSTANCE: disclosed is aerosol-forming article (10) comprising aerosol-forming substrate (12) and mouthpiece (14) attached to the downstream of aerosol-forming substrate (12). Mouthpiece (14) contains at least one section of the porous filtering material (20) and blocking section (27), which delays the air flow further along the flow direction relative to the said at least one section of the porous filtration material (20). Blocking section (27) comprises a section of support material (22) having an annular shape forming channel (24) extending through at least a portion of the support material portion (22), wherein channel (24) comprises at least one element (26) for delivery of freshener. Locking element (27) containing said at least one element (26) for delivery of freshener can be separated from said at least one section of porous filtration material (20) in order to reduce resistance to inhaling aerosol-forming article (10).

EFFECT: providing a novel breath freshener for consumers of aerosol-generating articles that mitigates or overcomes the disadvantages of known breath freshener delivery systems.
