FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy and can be used for bottom blowing of liquid metal by inert gas in ladle. Working surface of socket unit in ladle is located below working surface of tuyere by value equal to 0.20–0.90 of height of tuyere, at that socket unit has bottom part with height equal to 0.10–0.45 of tuyere height. In bottom part of seat unit there is a refrigerator to prevent emergency outflow of liquid metal.
EFFECT: invention allows reducing the temperature gradient between the upper and lower end surfaces of the socket unit and thus reducing the number of longitudinal cracks formed in it.
