FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machining and may be used in abrasive machining of spherical surfaces of parts. Processed part and the cutting tool are imparted with independent rotations, and processing is performed with a radius cutting tool with radius R=5–30 mm according to the programmed curvilinear trajectory equidistant to the spherical contour of the processed part. Sanding depth makes 0.1–1 mm.
EFFECT: higher geometrical accuracy of inner spherical surface of ceramic parts and shorter duration of machining process.
