FIELD: materials processing.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the processing of materials by cutting and can be used in the mechanical processing of the inner surface of ceramic products. The method involves installing the product on the machine and processing the inner surface of the product with a cutting tool. For processing, a cutting tool is used, the radius of which is 3-6 times smaller than the inner radius of the product. Then the product is processed with a cutting tool, the size of which corresponds to the inner radius of the product. During processing, the feed rate of each cutting tool is 0.1-0.5 mm per revolution, and the cutting depth is 0.1-1.2 mm.

EFFECT: this eliminates the cutting tool overheating due to the lack of full contact with the ceramic product, simplifies the ceramic product processing technology.
