FIELD: ceramic and aviation industries.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ceramic and aviation industries and can be used in multi-part mechanical processing of internal and/or external radius surfaces of ceramic parts from slabs. The drum is installed on the machine, the workpieces are installed and fixed in the drum, the diamond wheel is installed, the inner or outer surface of the workpieces is machined with a diamond wheel. In this case, flat or spherical blanks of ceramic parts are installed in the drum in an even number at the attachment points, symmetrically located around the circumference. Using fasteners, the workpieces are fixed to the inner or outer surface of the drum so that the radial runout of the drum with the installed workpieces of ceramic parts relative to the axis of rotation is no more than ±0.1 mm. One of the workpiece surfaces is machined by moving the grinding spindle with a diamond wheel along the rotation axis in order to obtain a hemispherical surface.
EFFECT: expansion of the technological capabilities of the lathe during multi-detail machining of flat or spherical blanks of ceramic parts, increase in the productivity of the manufacture of ceramic parts.
