SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for displaying an image on a screen. Image display device comprises a synthesizing device for connecting a rear image captured by the rear image forming device and a rear side image obtained by the rear side image forming device, and display device for displaying the synthesized image on the screen. Synthesizing device changes the ratio of each region from the region of the rear image and the region of the rear lateral image to the synthesized image based on the first information relating to the first turn indicator, which is configured to operate to inform movement of the vehicle to the right or to the left. Also, the synthesizing device changes the image angle of at least one part corresponding to the back image and the second part of the image corresponding to the fragment of the synthesized back lateral image, based on information related to the turn indicator.

EFFECT: possibility of synthesizing an image which enables the driver or passenger to properly understand the environment.
