SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for motion control. A motion control method is proposed for a vehicle that has a system start mode and a driver start mode. The system startup mode contains a determination of whether the start condition for the automatic lane change function is satisfied, when the start condition is satisfied, the presentation of lane change information regarding whether to perform a lane change or not, and when, in response to the presentation of lane change information, the input of a consent acceptance for lane change is detected, suggested in the lane change information. The driver start mode contains a determination of whether the driver is performing a lane change instruction operation other than the reception input, and if it is detected that a lane change instruction operation is being performed, the use of the automatic lane change function to perform a lane change according to the lane change operation instruction. At the same time, when the action of the lane change instruction by the driver is detected after the lane change information is presented in the system start mode, the driver start mode is used to execute the lane change instruction.
EFFECT: timely lane change is achieved.
