FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment. Method involves a transcranial brain examination by recording brain wEW using a log-periodic UHF/SHF antenna with a built-in low-noise amplifier, the receiving portion of which is located in close proximity to the examined cerebral part of the skull of the person being tested, and determining the amplitude-frequency characteristic of the electromagnetic field-emission device using a high-sensitivity UHF/SHF spectrum analyzer with low intrinsic and phase noise, connected to the output of the antenna through a radio-frequency cable, wherein recording of the brain wEW is carried out when at least the person being tested and the antenna in the anechoic shielded chamber are found.
EFFECT: invention is used for carrying out neurophysiological studies of microwave electromagnetic activity of different areas of the human brain (HB) by transcranial detection of amplitude-frequency characteristics of weak electromagnetic waves (wEW) in the range of ultrahigh (UHF) and superhigh (SHF) frequencies from 1,5 to 5 GHz.
