SUBSTANCE: invention refers to molecular biology and medicine, particularly to oncology and neurosurgery. What is presented is a diagnostic technique for malignant cerebral tumors involving taking a brain tissue sample, extracting RNA and real-time polymerase chain reaction. GUSB and HPRT gene expression is measured. Presence of glioblastoma is evaluated by positive or equal to zero threshold cycles difference Ct HPRT – Ct GUSB.

EFFECT: invention provides a simple method of diagnosing cerebral malignant tumors, reducing duration thereof, high accuracy.
