SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine. Device for insertion of an intraocular lens comprises: an insertion device body which forms a first inner cavity; a tip connected to the body of the device and comprising a chamber accommodating an intraocular lens; container for compressed carbon dioxide (CO2) connected to the introduction device body; assembly located in the cavity and configured to move in the first inner cavity relative to the insertion device body, wherein the assembly comprises: a cylinder; a second inner cavity formed in the cylinder and a piston located in the second inner cavity and configured to move therein relative to the cylinder, wherein the piston divides the second inner cavity into a first portion configured to receive compressed carbon dioxide (CO2) from the container for compressed carbon dioxide (CO2), and a second part configured to store a substantially incompressible fluid, wherein the piston is configured to apply pressure from the compressed carbon dioxide (CO2) to stored substantially incompressible fluid medium; and plunger, wherein plunger is movable under action of pressure applied by essentially incompressible fluid. Second version of device comprises actuator connected with possibility of rotation with device housing for introduction, wherein the actuator comprises a lever arm which engages with the assembly, wherein the actuator is configured to displace the assembly in the device housing for insertion when the actuator rotates relative to the insertion device body, and the assembly comprises a piercing rod located at the second end of the first cylinder opposite to the first end.

EFFECT: use of the given group of inventions widens the range of technical means, namely devices for introducing the intraocular lens.
