SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the pharmaceutical industry, in particular to embodiments of spray-dried particles for treating or preventing respiratory infections and diseases consisting of (i) at least 70 wt. % of an alginate oligomer and (ii) at least 10 wt. % in total of phospholipid (in amount of not less than 0.5 wt. %), which is solid at room temperature, and an anti-adhesive compound (in amount of not less than 0.5 wt. %), which is a hydrophobic amino acid selected from leucine, isoleucine, alanine, valine, phenylalanine, glycine, methionine, tryptophan, proline and combinations thereof; wherein in one version, particles further include (iii) not more than 10 wt. % of excipients. Also disclosed are: a method of producing such particles; an emulsion for making said particles, and a method for production thereof; capsule adapted for use in an inhaler and a pharmaceutical product in the form of an inhaler for dry powder containing the declared particles.
