SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nanotechnology, veterinary science. Method of obtaining Virkon-S nanocapsules in sodium alginate is characterized by that Virkon-S is added in portions to a suspension of sodium alginate in hexane in presence of 0.01 g of preparation E472c as a surfactant while stirring at 700 rpm, then 6 ml of fluorobenzene is added, the formed suspension is filtered and dried at room temperature, wherein the weight ratio of core to polymer is 1:3, 1:1 or 1:2.

EFFECT: disclosed is a method of producing Virkon-S nanocapsules.
