FIELD: aerodynamics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to experimental aerodynamics, particularly to devices for changing position of tested model in working part of aerodynamic pipe. Device comprises a holder attachment assembly with a pattern configured to rotate the holder about a longitudinal axis, two pairs of hinges arranged symmetrically about the vertical plane on the attachment assembly at two points spaced along its length, wherein hinges arranged on its tail part are offset vertically relative to its longitudinal axis at a distance corresponding to its maximum rotation in vertical plane, and streamlined form posts, connected on one side with said hinges, and on the other side – with carriages interacting with independent drives of their movement and fixed in working part by longitudinal guides. Said posts of the front hinges on the fastening assembly of the holder are rigidly connected to the carriage, and the hinge post of the hinged joint of the attachment point is connected to the same carriage by means of a hinge and is provided with a mechanism for changing its length and an additional self-contained drive, wherein said carriage with posts by means of additionally inserted vertical guides is installed on carriage arranged on said longitudinal guides.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of rigidity of device, accuracy of model positioning in working part of aerodynamic pipe and simplification of control.
