FIELD: experimental aerodynamics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to experimental aerodynamics, particularly to devices for changing position of tested model in working part of aerodynamic pipe. Device comprises a holder assembly for mounting a model and three pairs of posts articulated with vertices with a holder attachment assembly at two points spaced along its length, and bases by means of three pairs of hinges – with carriages interacting with autonomous drives, arranged with possibility of longitudinal movement on two guides installed in working part symmetrically relative to its vertical longitudinal plane, note here that said hinge arranged in holder attachment assembly is displaced in vertical relative to its axis at distance corresponding to its maximum turn in vertical plane. Device is also provided with a replaceable flat element oriented along the axis of the holder attachment assembly and connected to it at the location of the tail hinge, wherein connection of the said element to the holder attachment assembly is performed with the possibility of changing their mutual angular orientation.

EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of power consumption of drives and provision of stable operation of device at limitation of cross-section dimensions and reduction of aerodynamic resistance of its elements.
