FIELD: pulp and paper industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of cellulose fine fibers. Described is a method of producing surface-modified cellulose fine fibers, comprising impregnating cellulose with a reactive modifying fibrillating solution, which is obtained by adding a reagent for modifying cellulose to formic acid, or highly concentrated aqueous solution of formic acid for fibrillation of cellulose, where the cellulose modification reagent includes a compound of at least one type selected from an acid halide of carboxylic acid, an anhydride of carboxylic acid, carboxylic acid, isocyanate and epoxide. Also described is a version of the method of producing surface-modified cellulose fine fibers.
EFFECT: technical result is higher degree of crystallinity and reduced sensitivity to damage to mold.
