FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely gynecologic oncology, radiology and radionuclide imaging methods, and can be used to determine individual lymph node exposure in cervical cancer patients. That is ensured by intra-tumor introduction of 74–200 MBq of 99mTc labeled colloidal Technephyt preparation solution. In 30–120 minutes, the signal lymph nodes are scanned. Scintigraphy data are used to visualize lymphatic drainage pathways from a tumor in single-photon emission computed tomography combined with X-ray computed tomography (SPECT-CT). In the presence of lymphatic drain in paraaortal and/or presacral zones, paraaortic and/or presacral lymph nodes are included in the irradiation volume in addition to irradiation of external, internal, common iliac lymph nodes, in the absence of lymphatic drain – excluded from the irradiation volume.

EFFECT: method provides high-accuracy selection of individual irradiation volume of regional lymph nodes, enables to avoid unjustified irradiation of presacral lymphatic nodes, establish necessity of irradiation of pelvic lymph nodes combined with irradiation of lymph nodes of paraaortal zone.
