FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry, in particular, to a method for production of edible package of apple raw materials. To produce said package inedible parts are removed from apples, treated with steam for 10–30 minutes, 0.1–1.0 % ascorbic acid is added to the obtained mass and milled till a puree-like condition; the puree is strained through a sieve with cells of 0.50–2.00 mm. Plasticizer is added to the produced mass in amount of 1.0–5.0 % of apple puree weight and uniformly distributed throughout the volume. Puree is evenly distributed in form of 1–3 mm thick, dried at temperature of 55–70 °C for 1–2 hours, repeating this operation to produce eight-layer composite edible package.
EFFECT: obtained package has high mechanical strength and structural stability.
