SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microbiology, in particular to methods of physical sterilization in laboratories and veterinary clinics. Disclosed is a method of treating Staphylococcus aureus culture with oxygen-containing gas from portable ozoniser. Method comprises treatment with oxygen-containing gas Staphylococcus aureus, sown on petri dishes, by introducing an ozonisation tube at distance of 1 cm from the surface of the agar, mass concentration of ozone at output of not less than 70 mg/m3 and ozone capacity of not less than 8 g/h.

EFFECT: method provides bactericidal action of oxygen-bearing gas with respect to Staphylococcus aureus culture.
