SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ground testing of aircraft elements. Method of controlling thin-wall fiberglass shells involves measuring the surface of the shell by displacement sensors while rotating about its axis without creating a pressure drop and with creating a pressure drop, and the field of displacements of the shell surface is calculated from the difference in the readings of the sensors of movement of the surface of the shell when it rotates about its axis and displacements of the surface of the shell when it rotates about its axis with simultaneous creation of pressure drop along the wall of the shell.

EFFECT: technical result of claimed invention consists in improvement of measurement accuracy of displacements of shell surface at power loading.
