FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to layered composites (versions) having the ability to independently restore their integrity after mechanical damages (self-healing) caused by them, are used for making structures which need protection against defects, in particular for making structures with internal atmosphere, for example, for sealed objects. In one version, the composite laminated self-healing material comprises two outer flexible layers and a composite layer. Composite layer consists of organosilixane matrix and filler. Between composite layer and outer flexible layer there is a layer of boraxiloxane oligomer or polymer. External flexible layers include a material having an affinity for organosiloxanes. In another version, composite material comprises two composite layers and two outer flexible layers. First composite layer is connected to the first external flexible layer, and the second one – to the second external flexible layer. Between two composite layers there is a layer of boraxiloxane oligomer and polymer. Outer flexible layers include a material having an affinity for organosiloxanes. In another version, composite material comprises two composite and two outer flexible layers. Between two composite layers there are two layers based on boraxiloxane oligomer or polymer, separated by barrier layer. Outer flexible layers also include a material having an affinity for organosiloxanes.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention lies in the fact that the composite laminar materials are able to quickly self-recover within a short period of time, on the order of several seconds, with long-term preservation effect.
