FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: method relates to powder metallurgy, particularly, to preparation of hot loose materials. It can be used for fabrication of items from foam aluminum to be deformed, which are used in road construction, shipbuilding, aircraft building and car building. Two counter cylindrical identical vortex flow of inert gas, identical in form and opposite in the swirling motions, one of which contains hot powder of aluminum alloy, and the other one – non-heated TiF2 foamer powder, combined at angle of meeting 90–120°. Via vertical cylindrical channel with outlet opening turned through 45°, planetary mixing casing is introduced into cylindrical case made with skew directed longitudinal baffle passing through one of radii of central cross section of one of halves of inner cavity with inclination to 10° to central longitudinal section of cavity passing through said radius. Jets of inert gas are supplied from the device for supply of vortex flow to inner cavity at angles of inclination to cross sections of the above cavity from inlet side 25–35°, and from outlet side 45–75°.

EFFECT: higher quality and shorter mixing time.
