FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology. Disclosed is a method of producing a product selected from a biopolymer expressed by a cell, a cell and a microorganism in a bioreactor system with detachable-top fermentation. Method involves fermentation of cells expressing a biopolymer, cells or microorganism in a culture vessel. During fermentation, the impurity-containing medium is removed from the culture vessel through the filtering impurity element, adding a first fresh medium for replacement or partial replacement of the removed medium, certain volume of medium containing a product and admixtures is removed from the culture vessel through the product collection outlet and a second fresh medium is added to the culture vessel for replacement or partial replacement of the removed medium.
EFFECT: invention ensures increase in the bioreactor productivity and concentration of the product in the collected medium.
