FIELD: bioprocessing systems and methods.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates more specifically to a bioprocessing system and method for providing cellular immunotherapy. The bioprocessing system includes a first module for enriching and isolating the cell population, a second module for activating, genetically modifying and expanding the cell population, and a third module for harvesting the expanded cell population. Moreover, each module is closed. The method of bioprocessing for cell therapy includes the enrichment and selection of a population of cells in the first module; activating, genetically modifying, and propagating the cell population in a second module; and harvesting the proliferated cell population in a third module.

EFFECT: implementation of the group of inventions makes it possible to reduce the risk of contamination by increasing automation and reducing manual processing.
