FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: system and method for protein production are proposed. The method comprises bioreactor provision with a cell culture, cell culturing and harvesting cycle performance. The cell culturing and harvesting cycle includes cell culture incubation in a bioreactor before the cell culture reaches an exponential phase, early stationary phase or stationary phase, harvesting of the culture medium with protein, supply of the cells separated from the culture medium to another bioreactor to continue culturing with a fresh culture medium. And for harvesting of the culture medium with protein, the cell culture is fed to a centrifuge. The system includes a plurality of bioreactors, a culture medium supply device, a cell detector, a filtering harvesting module, a separator, a pump and switching unit.
EFFECT: invention provides efficient and controlled production of protein.
