FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: perfusion filtration system for continuous cultivation of cell cultures in a bioreactor is presented, the said system includes a pump for supplying circulating fluid to the system, a filter holder with replaceable filter elements, an automated control system for membrane valves with software consisting of four separate filtrate discharge lines with pressure sensors that allow to register pressure changes and the rate of pressure change, which in turn show the degree of contamination of the filter element and have the ability to control the frequency of opening and closing of membrane valves 4.1–7.3 and starting the self-cleaning mode of the filter elements in automatic mode, where there are three membrane valves on each filtrate discharge line, and valves 4.1; 5.1; 6.1; 7.1 and 4.3; 5.3; 6.3; 7.3 operate with the ability to provide flow cutoff, and valves 4.2; 5.2; 6.2; 7.2 work with the possibility of ensuring the creation of a flow, as well as the possibility of ensuring the cleaning of filter elements in automatic mode, with automated control of the discharge of the filtrate with the replacement of the nutrient medium in the bioreactor with a fresh one.
EFFECT: increased density of cell cultures and increased yield of the product.
