FIELD: glass.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of glass articles used for packing of pharmaceutical products. Method involves obtaining a glass article having a hydrolytic titration index and having a surface glass layer having inorganic deposits. Thereafter, the glass article is subjected to thermal treatment at a temperature of at least 20 °C is greater than temperature at which glass has viscosity of 1⋅1013.4 P, and less than temperature, at which glass has viscosity of 1⋅107.6 P, during treatment time, which is more than or equal to approximately 0.25 hours. At the same time particles forming inorganic deposits of surface layer of glass are diffused into glass for homogenisation of glass. After heat treatment of glass article, it has index of hydrolytic titration less than before treatment.

EFFECT: technical result of the invention is an increase in the hydrolytic resistance of the glass article.
