FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of controlling semi-finished product extrusion during tire assembly. Technical result is achieved by method of control of semi-finished product extrusion during tire assembly, which includes production of semi-finished product at extrusion unit outlet. At that, the semi-finished product contains the first component formed from the first material and the second component formed from the second material different from the first material. Semi-finished product has heat accumulated during extrusion performed in the extrusion unit. At that, the first check is performed to check one of the following: availability of the second component and location of the second component relative to the first component. At that, the first check includes detection of the first electromagnetic radiations characterizing heat release from the semi-finished product. First detection parameters are determined based on detected first radiations, which characterize availability of the second component and/or location of the second component relative to the first component.

EFFECT: technical result is improved control of components mutual location.
